Bucket funnel trap was designed mainly for catching some pest insects such as Spodoptera frugiperda, Apoplygus lucorum, Hyphantria cunea and Cytotrachelus longimalus etc. in combination with species-specific pheromone lure.

How it works
The bucket funnel trap needs to be used in combination with species-specific pheromone lures. The pheromone lures release pheromone which lure males of the particular pest into the trap.

Directions for use
The application should take place before the first fly of the adults. The pheromone lure should be replaced every 4-8 weeks.30-45 traps per ha are recommended.
When applied in vegetables, the height of the trap should be less than 0.8 meterabove ground and 10-20cm above the canopy of vegetables. When applied in some crops such as fruits, maize and sorghum etc, the height of the trap should be 1.5-2.0 meters above ground.
Observe regularly the catches and clean out the cadaver of dead insects timely in order to ensure good trapping.
